i did upgrade dpm 2012 sp1 to 2012 r2. dmp backup the server with hyper - v machines, windows / linux . the previous version of windows, as did backup via partition shapshot not stop its operation. current unfortunately it does! during backup closes all connections to virtual machine , start the copy and return connections . hyper -v also shows the beginning of a new machine to count on time as if they held the restart ( even though it was not ) . as every change / off? going the previous version ? backup group i created again - does not help. after many attempts found a barely noticeable eventlog message : " the virtual machine ' x ' can not be hot backed up since it has no scsi controllers attached. just configured 2 new windows 2012 servers in our domain use dfs.  let's call them server1 , server2.  each server has c drive , d drive setup in vmware esx5 virtual hard disk 1 , virtual hard disk 2 respectively.  logged on each server domain administrator - should have full access hidden shares user defined shares. i can access c$ administrative share using windows explorer each system locally , remotely.  i can access d$ share each server locally cannot access d$ administrative share of either server other. said way, if use \\ server1 \d$ server2, access denied error , same error occurs if use \\ server1 \ d$.  error code is:  0x80004005.  eventid see in security event log of the server1 when trying access server remotely server2 is 4656. because of above issue, cannot setup dfs synchronize folder on drive d since dfs wizard assumes can access d$ share when attemping d drive via d$ administrative share specify folder wa...

(main dc, child dc a, child dc b.) for reason, child dc b posting dcom error 10009 saying can't contact child dc a. our vpns not connect 2 child offices together; each child has vpn main dc. weirdest thing have seen in while , want bounce off people here see think. i have 3 windows 2003 x64 terminal servers. 8 processor machines 8-16gb or ram. physical memory usage floating around 4-5gb, processor usage never spikes past 30%, when logged server, general operations (running office, browsing internet, etc..) works prefectly no delays. thought might have been physical disk issue, have confirmed not the problem. starting month or ago, start noticing delays on login. are big delays. in cases, user enter credentials , once click ok, hangs on gsod upwards of 2 minutes. once in, fine. so log in, , other thing seems locked task manager. if process has hijacked machine when try open task manager. while tm trying open, machine operates spec, , responsive. in cases open task manager , view running processes take on 10 minutes. there 0 applicable errors/information in event logs. any thoughts, cause i'm @ loss. hello matt,   thanks feedback.   can try rein...
