you have troubleshoot networking perspetive. forget way connect internet , systems in place, moment.
the fact thin clients can connect, indicates 2003 server itself, have internet connectivity. if xp systems not, check ip configuration. ip settings should reflect thte following:
ip on same segemnt internal nic of 2003 server, same subnet mask, , xp's default gateway should internal nic of 2003 server. if configured correctly, next step validate if ics configuration on 2003 server set correctly.
by way, recommend remove ics (since running 2003 server) , enable routing , remote access. more reliable service , have more configuration options avaialbe you.
aside advice remedy current situation, tend to think better design not use 2003 server internet connectivity, rather move broadband connection, connect internet using consumer or enterprise entry router, allow of clients (2003 server , xp clients) use router access internet.
