hello, we having problem word/excel 2010 printing automatic duplex when choosing flip mode. happens with of our computers (over 650 computers) and of our printers (more 25 printers). computers running either windows xp 32-bit or windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit. printers not hp printers. printers are using current drivers for each printer. the version of word 2010 14.0.6112.5000 (32 bit). this issue. if choose flip pages (short edge in portrait or long edge in landscape), prints in book mode (long edge in portrait or short edge in landscape). other applications duplex properly. problem not occur in access 2010 access 2010 not use interface printing word , excel have in 2010.   a user can select printer properties , manually check box flip pages when duplexing. after clicking ok, word printing interface changes reflect flipping pages up. if go printer properties, box has become unchecked. also, pages still print in book mode. users office 2000 hav...

  in our current small office network running 5 main pc's   - slowest box running win2008 64bit rc1 , handles active directory dns/wins. file & print services and  syslog our cisco router/firewall.  run  hyper-v server (win2003 32bit guest os  for special  2 factor authentication software etoken ssl vpn with our cisco asa/pix -as doesn't work under longhorn directly)  can run ok 2gb ram because although it's running multiple services, actual traffic light.     the fastest pc 64bit extreme quad-core running vista 32bit.. , runs for gaming.  most of time idle cpu/disk .when not being use ... when .. we have intense graphics directx10.. , don't want compromise game performance.   my question is, need free box run webserver inside dmz... (with nothing else on it) better install win2008 64bit on fastest box , create guest os 32bit vista run games on, along other guest os win2003... or would ok to simply install the games directly on win2008 server (does support...

hi folks, hopefully can answer question on domain migrations... scenario we have 2 domains in separate forests part of same organisation , until there has been no trust in place. domain windows nt domain, whilst domain b windows 2000/2003 domain. our plan migrate domain larger , newer domain b. tricky part users in domain have ad account in domain b purely exchange mailbox. when users access mailbox domain specify credentials domain b account. planned migration what use admt migrate user account domain merge account in domain b. this migrated account maintain sid of account had in domain b have sid history , group membership of account in domain a. naturally no affect exchange mailbox functionality. can done admt v3?? if how do , have knock on effect profile migrations etc. if admt cannot can recommend solution? thanks, dascoobmaster this can achieved using version 3.0 of active directory migration tool (admt). version 3.1 no longer supports restru...
