Re'Acling of Document

i involved in project users 1 domain (a) have been provisioned domain (b) using remedy. domain (a) has incoming trust domain (b) users while logging domain b can still access resources domain a. question is, in domain have thousands of documents have permissions based on domain users. now, since no longer using domain usernames, want know how provide exact same permissions domain b user present domain user. following name pattern if domain had 'amit' as username domain b have newamit username. 

is there way of mapping old permission information old user new user documents etc?

since haven’t used migration tool migrate/provisioned users domaina domainb, can’t re-acl resources using migration tool.  if using migration tool admt, can use sid history co-existence or “resource update process” re-acling.  

i think have few options:

1.      write script compare acl in domaina , add/replace domainb user accounts. 

2.      migrate user account using admt , “merge” existing accounts in domainb.  you need use import file merging accounts. 

3.      you use sidhist.vbs – don’t recommend option.  also, if using sidhistory, need make sure domaina , running time. need perform step#1 before remove sidhistory. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727128.aspx

how long planning keep domaina?  also, how going preserve user local profile on workstation? 

my recommendation migrate these user accounts using migration tool , use “merge” option.
