what are the default threshold values for Average disk bytes/write and Average disk bytes/read

hi all,

we facing issue on windows 2003 which we have enabled performance counters , captured data collecter set, , enabled average disk bytes/write , bytes/read counter , captured data , after period stoped data , when converted in csv format getting value 12870.3044776119, question value in sec or milliseconds , threshold counters means if value goes beyond x no then there bottlenecks on server. please suggest.......

regards,

sudhir

hello,

i think confounding "avg. disk bytes/write" , "avg. disk sec/write"

avg. disk bytes/writes: avg. disk bytes/write average number of bytes transferred disk during write operations. => unit here bytes (8 bits)

avg. disk sec/writes: avg. disk sec/write average time, in seconds, of write of data disk. => here unit second. have multiply 1000 millisecond.

the table give above avg. disk bytes/writes, nothing time. presume want @ avg. disk sec/writes instead.

regards
