vms on the cluster are not booting

dear all,

i have 2-nodes cluster hosting 8 vms connected qnap ts-421u storage.

i don´t know what happened got call telling me vms down. i connected there , true, vms off.

i restarted 2 nodes , trying bring vms again , failed, os corrupted , don´t boot anymore.

can me fix this?

1. iscsi initiators connected after failed many times or after many tries;

2. on server side, node-1 shows conectivity issues displays

3. on storage side 1 of 4 disk faulting, it´s configured raid 5 4x2tb

what os running?, older hyperv clusters required a domain controller start cluster services. in situation you'll need start domain controller outside cluster going again.

check iscsi connections make sure have each node connected iscsi targets once. i've seen situation 1 node connect 5 times , take allowed connection other node can't connect. correct long term @ "favorites" in iscsi initiator , remove duplicates.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
