Server 2012 RS Multiple RDS Collections equals only one application from one collection at a time

hello all!

we have 2012 r2 rds "farm" configured this:

2 rd web access servers (load balanced behind kemp appliances)

2 rd connection brokers in a high availability configuration

8 rd session host servers (no vdi) in 2 different collections

i've noticed if have rights / visibility different applications in both collections can run 1 of applications @ time.  instance:

collection has application 1

collection b has application 2

what i'm experienceing if have rights app 1 , app 2 can use 1 @ time.  if attemp run app 2 while have app 1 open message:

"windows cannot start remoteapp program.  following remoteapp program not in list of authorized programs: app 1"

maybe thinking incorrect , cannot cross boundries 1 collection other.  maybe need 1 collection host , segregate applications via ad permissions.  thoughts?

please make sure client pc has mstsc.exe 6.3.9600 (rdp 8.1) or later.

from description sounds though attempting connect wrong collection when launch remoteapp second collection.  can caused older client version and/or load balancing configuration.  should load balance initial connections broker, not use load balancer connections rdsh servers, unless have specific need to.  rd connection brokers handle load balancing rdsh servers.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
