ADFS 2.1 proxy trust establishment error

hello,

i'm trying install adfs proxy. in our intranet have adfs 2.1 server running on windows 2012 working fine. we're trying deploy proxy 1 internet access, using windows 2012 r2's web application proxy.

i'm getting following error on proxy server, event id 393:

message : error occurred while attempting establish trust relationship federation server. error occurred when attempting establish trust relationship federation service. error: forbidden
context : deploymenttask
status  : error

i'm not getting errors on adfs server.

i've tried different credentials. adfs service account, domain administrator member of local administrators group on adfs server, , local administrator account on adfs server. same error message.

both port 80 , 443 accessible proxy server internal adfs server, , can access adfs metadata endpoint proxy server. i'm using same trusted ssl certificate (wildcard) on both machines.

do have ideas can me troubleshoot problem?

upgrading adfs server windows server 2012 r2 solved problem. both adfs proxy , server needs running 2012 r2.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
