The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume MASS.

i using server 2008 r2. have adaptec 3805 , 6 750gb western digital re3 drives. have 2 arrays configured, 1 - 125gb raid 5ee os , 1 - 2.6 tb raid 5ee array.

i have run check disk check bad sectors option. did not find errors. did build verify on array. again no problems. when reboot d drive automatically checked, didn't ask to.

no problems being reported on c drive.

i have opened case microsoft in mean time thought ask here too.

any suggestions appreciated!

i have narrowed problem software issues. uninstalled wsus , windows internal database , errors went away. not sure conflict is. running disaster recovery / backup software double-take uses sql server 2008 , database file stored on d drive. software replicates in real time server server's d drive. snapshots taken using vss on folder server files being replicated using vss. there vss related issues double-take on server never resolved. work around found prevent errors continuing occur.

i'll post changes. if there suggestions please feel free add.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
