Slow performance and unable to view video youtube videos for remote user RDP to datacenter VMs.

1. datacenter host 80 vms, personal , pooled.

2. cluster 2 hyper-v hosts rds.

at datacenter, when connect vm, can watch youtube videos on vm just fine. when remote user rds from thinpc, can barely watch anything. network issue?

thinpc: windows  7 embedded 32-bit rdp 7.1 using t1 line. don't think adding gpu , enable remotefx help?

vms on hyper-v: windows 7 enterprise 32-bit rpd 8.1

please advise , if can refer consultant company can implement seamless vdi infrastructure? remote locations on county. please let me know.

streaming media though remote desktop connection going less ideal. if focus vdi type deployment , need do. remotefx necessity.

additionally, mention rds. using shared rds session host? cpu on session host when streaming remotely? have verified other form of resource contention? (cpu, ram...etc...etc)

another option have endpoint users stream on local thinpc if possible. use rds  implementation else. 

the big problem remote streaming, end users expect near native performance, difficult , expensive achieve. @ other options if possible.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
