WSUS Server 2016 not working

hi,

i'm playing around server 2016 , wsus. have set lab few servers (all 2016 core , gui) , 1 2016 gui , wsus role (updated updates microsoft online).

wsus working, http://127.0.0.1:8530/clientwebservice/client.asmx reachable (from wsus , other clients).

problem: clients appear in wsus console none of them (gui , core server) able install updates. if triggered client, needed updates appear after downloading complete installation won't start (i think problem downloads aren't working). i've installed service stack update on 1 of servers server can't update remaining ones...

any ideas?

update side:

after manually installing kb3200970 on clients servers can communicate again wsus server (10.0.14393.447). both versions (with , without gui) working again, no more errors in event log.

it seems "old" win 2016 version can not communicate up2date wsus...

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
