Word 2010 : Can I get the "new style" view for the "My Templates" dialog OR create cutom entries within "Available Templates"
hello
within word 2010 – show corporate templates in “new style” view - exists “sample templates” or “office.com templates”.
allow make corporate templates visible in nice way new preview view.
– when clicking on “my templates” pulls “old style” (ugly) dialog.
more details
in word 2010:
file -> new -> "available templates" -> "my templates"
shows “merged” view of:
- user created templates
- workgroup templates
(from relevent tempalte paths)
i’m ok continue concept of “workgroup templates” path and publishing templates central location
– why can’t these visible in nicer – “new-style” view (rather “old-style” dialog box).
to demonstrate difference:
go file -> new -> available templates -> "sample templates"
shows “new style” view
q. why isn’t available “my templates”?
q. possible create “custom” category under “home”? (if how)
thanks
