Offline Files Disappeared - Please Help!

hello everybody,

i have windows 7 pro laptop uses mapped server drive (server 2008 r2) offline files enabled. last night did quite significant amount of work, saved in mapped drive would, , when logged in @ office morning, of files saved in mapped drive last night gone. has never happened in last 6 years i've been working here, cannot restore files backup because mapped drive gets backed , files not on there either.

does know why may have happened , there way restore files seem have disappeared? know saved there because if go recent documents can see files there associated file path when try open them says not there. went sync center, clicked manage offline files , viewed offline files, files not in there.

this has me worried since every user laptop using offline files , can't have files disappearing randomly. if can shed light on or give me possible solution appreciated.

hi,

seems replication/synchronize issue. there replication applied on these folders, such dfs replication, task schedule etc? files not deleted automatically there must reason incorrect synchronize.

did set automatic resolution policy offline file synchronization conflict? please check whether there key named syncconflicthandling in

hkey_loal_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\netcache .

if issue persists, please refer following article modify group policy configure background sync.

regards,

mandy ye
