Cluster log on Windows 2008


hi

running exchange 2007 in scc active/passive , ccr active/passive.

can't seem find cluster.log anywhere troubleshoot cluster problems. i've gone command line , typed echo %clusterlog% , nothing comes up.

questions -

1. assume need follow instructions here http://blogs.msdn.com/b/clustering/archive/2008/09/24/8962934.aspx

correct?

2. if want stop cluster logging, how do this?

3. there anyway prevent the cluster.log file getting above size?

4. there real benefit having cluster.log file opposed checking system log file?

here yoru answers.

1 - yes correct blog post symon explains how copy , set detail of cluster log

2 - set log level 0, sill produce least logging

3 - cluster log handels rotating log after reboots, can change size of log clusterlogsize option

4 - when have issue want details in log, if running oak no, should leave running cases when crash may happen , wish caught detailed logs.
