Print Server Backup

hello all,

i've been tasked figuring out way backup our 5 company print servers.  os windows 2008 x64 , has both 64 bit , 32 bit (for user machine) drivers installed.  there way backup print server configurations aswell print/driver configurations.

i've read of print migrator 3.1 tool unfortunately not supported on windows 2008.  i've done bit of research , i've found if right-click printer server in print management can export printer , drivers.   export bot 64 , 32 bit driver along configurations? data same if use printbrm tool ?

in other words,  if server died have rebuild server, install os, print management , restore backup file , not have perform other addition configurations on print server.

hi,

printbrm.exe successor of print migrator tool. print management , printbrm.exe same tool. print management in 2008 , r2 uses printbrm.exe in background.

i not sure if tool backups x86 drivers intended users. here usefull post microsoft performance team regarding printbrm.

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
