how to install Netlogon service dependencies without joining a domain

fresh server 2008r2 install  -  not in domain

my app needs able netlogon - (using other systems in environment) if ad/dc or join domain proper dependencies of netlogon service loaded.

i want remain not-in-a-domain.  netlogon service->properties->dependencies  says needs "workstation" component subfolders in area of browser support,network store interface service, , smb1.x , smb2.0  

i'm pretty sure need install "file , printer sharing microsoft network" not see role or feature

i stay using gui add roles, role service, or features , not have hack commandline or registries

the system event log when try start says:  "this computer configured member of workgroup, not member of domain.  netlogon not need run in configuration."   ok - if microsoft's final position -then in order network oriented "change password" - (see thread post above wednesday, march 02, 2011 5:13 pm)  i must have domain oriented server/client server.

i can live that. thank time.  ( wonder else gets done inside server2008 when 1 joins domain - if cannot specify - can live that.  haven't time find out. )

btw: technically instructions gave latest , resolution part of kb/322267 inaccuarte - there no selection of edit-> multistring when selecting "dependonservice" =>  1 has (at least in win2008r2) "modify" , not changing lanworkstation lanserver (which both running)

also kb/322267 getting old - referes rpc locator - 2003 , pre.     2008(r2) runs rpc (rpcss).
