Strange issue : Cluster FQDN name is not valid.

hello group, have strange issue.

our client historically used domain name "domaine.local" name domain. (maybe related ?)

what see in mmc console has cluster fqdn name cluster-name-resource.domaine.local.domaine.local.domaine.local

yes, dns suffix appended 3 times.

however when check cluster name resource attributes adsiedit see :

dnshostname = cluster-name-resource.domaine.local.domaine.local (suffix repeated 2 times)

spns =  cluster-name-resource.domaine.local.domaine.local (suffix repeated 2 times)

and

cluster-name-resource.domaine.local (suffix repeated 1 time)

how can change fqdn normal value, possible, seems bug...

ps : did not check cluster database , registry hive entries yet nor cluster.log, maybe holds answer ?

pps : dns suffix of nodes ok

thank assistance / input.

first please check that cluster object name in corresponding ou in "adsi edit" :

then please use command setspn check spn , if possible please post here :

in case command :   setspn -l cluster1

the result of running command :

ps c:\users\administrator> setspn -l cluster1
registered serviceprincipalnames cn=cluster1,ou=cluster,dc=test,dc=com:

        msservercluster/cluster1
        msserverclustermgmtapi/cluster1.test.com
        msserverclustermgmtapi/cluster1
        msclustervirtualserver/cluster1.test.com
