Server 2008 R2 SP1 - Unable to access network shares or Exchange from some clients?

hi,

server 2008 r2 sp1, running file server, domain controller , exchange 2010.  we have had several occurences of win7 clients unable access network drives mapped server or exchange: svr01.

problem client side:
unable access network drives mapped svr01, other servers ok.
unable access exchange hostsed on svr01
can ping svr01 ok

in particular instance access above resources (network shares , exchange) on svr01 pc (win7) clients booting first time not access.  we have second dc clients can still have policies applied , login although dhcp on svr01 obvisouly still working (udp?)

server side checks:
disabled firewall, no change on fault
disabled anti-virus, no change on fault
resource monitor showed memory high utiliastion put down exchange 2010 business usual, , after reboot of server memory utiliastion creeped again problem not present dismissed memory issue.
no hung services or unresponsive processes.
can see no application , system logs prior problems may indicate cause.

reboot clears fault , clients can access again.  my initial thoughts server not accepting new tcp connections reason, existing clients access new clients booting environemnt coudln't don't know start looking check further.

any network related errors in event logs on both server , client ?

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
