Active Directory Outlook Junk Email Settings Group Policy

i'm trying apply group policy outlook junk email safe senders list, not working.  can see registry getting updated...

hkey_current_user\software\policies\microsoft\office\12.0\outlook\options\mail

junkmailimportappend 1

junkmailsafesendersfile path .txt file on the network that i have proper permissions to, none of stuff in there gets appended safe senders list.

is exchange server required work, or there else i'm overlooking?

can reproduce issue on side. can resolve issue, please try follow action below:

add junkmailimportlists registry value hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\12.0\outlook\options\mail registry key. this, follow these steps:

1. locate , click following registry key: hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\12.0\outlook\options\mail
2. after select hkey_current_user\software\policies\microsoft\office\12.0\outlook\options\mail key, point new on edit menu, , click dword value.
3. type junkmailimportlists, , press enter.
4. right-click junkmailimportlists, , click modify.
5. in value data box, type 1, , click ok.
6. quit registry editor.
