Troubles with iScsi attached nas

not sure if right place or not, i'm having trouble repeated corruption on shared drive network attached device 2012 server.

several times week on last 1.5-2 months, we've had issue requires disable share, run chkdsk /f  clear "corruption", reassign permissions (undoubtedly single largest pain in neck), , re-enable share.

the iscsi device qnap ts-879 pro 8-4tb nas drives. i've run diagnostics on drives , on nas box itself, of pass internal diagnostics , tests flying colors.i've verified in logs on nas, well. last warning got on box when had drive begin show indications of impending failure (september, 2015).

there warnings , errors in windows log regarding both iscsiprt (9, 39, , 129) ntfs (50, 55, 136, and  137 ).

warning event id 55:

a corruption discovered in file system structure on volume backup1.

corruption found in file system index structure.  file reference number 0x100000000001d.  name of file "\$extend\$rmmetadata\$txflog".  corrupted index attribute ":$i30:$index_allocation".

while believe these related, can't tell. corruption , errors happen on nas. , i'm @ loss how make better, without eliminating nas completely.

any suggestions? ideas? anything?

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
