Best design for HA Fileshare on existing Hyper-V Cluster?

have 3 node 2012 r2 hyper-v cluster. storage hp msa 2000 g3 sas block storage csv's.

we have fileserver users running vm on cluster. fileserver availability important , it's difficult take fileserver down monthly patching. want make these file services ha. clients windows 8.1, smb 3 can used.

what best way make these file services ha?

1. easiest way migrate these fileserver ressources dedicated lun on msa 2000, , add "general fileserver role" existing hyper-v cluster. supported , solution provide hyper-v vm's , ha file services on same cluster (even when performance requirements file services not high)? or configuration affect hyper-v vm performance much?

2. better create 2 node guest cluster "shared vhdx" file services? i'm not sure if work. because had "persistent reservation" warnings when creating hyper-v cluster msa 2000. according "http://blogs.msdn.com/b/clustering/archive/2013/05/24/10421247.aspx", these warnings normal block storage , can ignored when never want create windows storage pools or storage spaces. hyper-v mmc shows "shared vhdx" work "persistent reservations".

3. there other possibilities provide ha file services configuration without buying new hw? (remark: dfsr 2 independet fileservers not solution, have lot of data change frequently).

thank in advance advice , recommedations!

you not want mix other workloads in parent partition...  not option #1.  best option #2, keep private cloud design running workloads in vms... use techniques such guest clustering increase availability of guest workloads further.

there several options shared storage guest cluster, shared vhdx one.  can things iscsi on iscsi software initiator guest.

thanks!
