Snapshots deleted but not through Hyper-v

we using hyper-v implementation host virtual servers.  long story short, snapshots set go c:\ partition , filled os disk.  we not login nor manage hyper-v server went in through c$ share , deleted snapshots.  now can't move vhd's or move change setting move snapshots more appropriate partition.  does have way @ least let able move vhd's , clean snapshot trees?

the issue encountered of people encountered hyper-v. snapshots test environment, such test new developed applications or hot fix before install product server. however, may performance issue snapshots. or snapshots eat disk space.

 

after take snapshot on vm, change save in snapshot instead of original vhd file. if delete snapshots files manually before, lost data in snapshots. delete snapshots in hyper-v manager, power off vm , let merge disk, or merge snapshots original vhd manually.

 

if delete snapshots(the .avhd files), can use original vhd create new vm. way, can change snapshots path after take snapshot.

 

in addition, please don’t put vms in system drive, may dedicate disk enough space vms.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
