Migrating print server from 03 to 08 R2, switching users printer connections

we getting ready go live new server replace 1 of our older ones.  file/print server (though domain controller).  i'm surely ironing out issues seem having printers.  right i'm curious if there tool or way printers users have installed on desktops migrated on old server new one.  i've got 200 people spread out on 7 buildings, , holding out little hope there script or can use copy printers people have on desktops , them on new printer, install updated driver , done.  i've tried using pushprinterconnections.exe tool it's been more problematic else in our test environment.

can export print queues, printer settings, printer ports, , language monitors, , import them on print server running windows operating system. efficient way consolidate multiple print servers or replace older print server.
