GPO to configure a Terminal Server not working

i have been trying remote desktop services server work gpo unable figure out. reason doing have different lot of settings apply when logging on via terminal services on each users workstation. i'm getting head around policies etc. but

i followed guide :

basic steps use gpo configure terminal server:
----
place terminal server (not users!) in separate ou
create ts-specific gpo
configure gpo use "loopback processing" "replace" option (see kb 231287)
link gpo ou contains terminal server machine account
add terminal server machine account security list of gpo
add user group security list of gpo (or keep default entry "authenticated users" if want settings in gpo apply users)
modify rights administrators on gpo: select "deny" right "apply policy" (see kb 816100)

---

however, when logon terminal services default domain policy apply, not terminal services gpo. have done gpupdate/reboot etc.

if add user terminal services ou seems work.

hi jon,

1. please make sure have restarted server after enabling loopback processing mode.  think have done mentioning certain.

2. recommend setting deny apply policy entry domain admins instead of administrators.  remove deny entry administrators , add new deny apply policy domain admins.

thanks.
