my server running server 2012 ad, dhcp , hyperv

i installed first ad, dhcp , hyperv (always restart if nessecary)
there no other servers in network (3 clients running windows 8 pro)

when install other server 2008 r2/2012 on vm , want join machine ad error

changing primary domain dns name of computer to "" failed. name will 
remain

i reinstalled server multiple times still error.

i can log on vm ad credentials, takes long time until desktop shows up.
server listed under "computers" in ad no operating system listed in porperties.
isnt listed in dns , access remotedesktop possible using ip adress

i tried installied dhcp adress or manualy configured ip
firewall on/off

i downloaded new .iso technet
changed harddrive, checked ram

and still same problems

someone got idea me?

any specific events in event viewer while join in domain?

also please confirm able ping domain name eg. abc.com machine?

please cross verify primary dns of machine need add in domain. (it should dc).

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...
