Delegate File Server Perms Administration

hello, more "how deal with...." question technical question itself.

we have fileserver in our company , want delegate administration of permissions in internal team here in company.

the thing not want assign domain admin group users , figuring out best way deal situation? @ first thinking in creating special ad group "fileserver_administration" , give ntfs permissions in shared resources them add/remove permissions in different folders , subfolders. annoying thing entering in different folders , subfolders in shared resources of fileserver add new group in security tab (ntfs perms) because file server there lots of inheritance breakdown, child folders has own perms different parent folders

if best option ntfs "special permissions" should granted?

is there best practice scenario? believe common scenario in medium-size/big companies

thks!!

hi,

i think creating user group these users better option. if part of folders in shared folder need managed these users, have manually add group each of them. or add group parent folder if permission of subfolders , files need managed.

when child folders need different permission parent folder, choose add instead of remove to keep group in permission list.
