Can I use Storage Replica for a standard file server disk?
hi,
i have 2 x 2 node clusters, each cluster @ separate site. using server 2016. clusters nodes connect shared vhdx data , log drives. data disks encrypted using bilocker.
so, can configure cluster cluster replication of disk. seems well, nothing replicates.
this setup command:
new-srpartnership -sourcecomputername cluster1 -sourcergname rg01 -sourcevolumename e: -sourcelogvolumename l: -destinationcomputername cluster2 -destinationrgname rg02 -destinationvolumename e:\ -destinationlogvolumename l: there no errors in logs. destination disk never becomes online (no access) though. docs wouild. status show 'log record copy destination', never goes away/changes. docs seem use csv, , uses source of c:\clusterstorage\volume1, trying use standard file server. if try use e:\shares\sharename complains being no matching gpt partition, whch why used drive letter only. ideas? thanks, carl.
hi carladean,
>the docs seem use csv, , uses source of c:\clusterstorage\volume1, trying use standard file server. if try use e:\shares\sharename complains being no matching gpt partition,
based on knowledge, main supports csv.
best regards,
mary
