Restricting access to virtual machines -- all VMs on server still show up
i trying restrict access when user logs in see vms should have access to.
using windows server 2008 r2 rc.
following post: http://projectdream.org/wordpress/2008/07/03/delegating-hyper-v-virtual-machines/
have created scopes , assigned them user accounts.
have assigned vms scopes using setscope.vbs scripts from: http://blogs.technet.com/alipka/archive/2008/07/02/off-topic-things-and-some-hyper-v-goodies-resources-backup-and-azman-scope-scripts.aspx.
pretty confident scope setup because if change role include new operations reflected user.
using rdp connect local hyper-v server.
problem vms on server displayed user.
able perform operations starting vms not in scope.
well, if don't have permission perform operation should not show in hyper-v manager?
ideas on how can have vms user has access show in hyper-v manager?
thanks,
geoff
