iSCSI LUNs presented as online on new server for new cluster.

we building out new 2012 r2 hyper-v cluster. old environment mix of cluster shared volume drives , luns presented vm itself.

i had planned on presenting in old environment new environment , using cluster migration wizard move vm's on few @ time.

i ran problem when connected first host our san today.  in group has on 70 lun's presented it.  once connect target host cripples.  not having memory or cpu issues disk io issues.  noticed host sees 70 plus luns , has tried bring disk online well.

i don't want them online right now.  need quorum drive , few of newly created lun's online finish creating our cluster can start migrations.

why host trying bring these drives online?  click on devices in iscsi initiator program locks , doesn't respond. 

is there way setup target force os not bring of disk online?  removed favorite target, , there no items listed in volume list under volumes , devices.  if go disk manager shows 70 plus disk , of them show online except newly created luns not initialized yet.

you can try remove issue occurred hosts iscsi target san first. iscsi initiator first logs on target target has grant access before server can start reading , writing luns assigned target.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
