Clustering steps

im having real hard time trying create simple cluster on dc + 2 nodes + 1 vsan.

using virtual environment here.

computers joined domain fine when time comes clustering, tests pass 100% green , when creating cluster, says fails 1 reason or another. first was unable authenticate reason. created fresh image , tried use replacement node above , said couldnt create cluster , unable clean up.

i recreating/cloning images again start scratch.

can please tell me should out when creating cluster?

what ip addresses should use private nic? machines have 2 nics, 1 public , 1 private. private on 192.168.1.x ip range (sub: 255.255.255.0)

any ideas , details please?

using ws2008r2 ee + updates

got working now! somehow.... not sure how.

however, warning , hope can help?

cluster network name resource 'cluster name' failed update dns record name 'w2k8r2-clstr.test.me.com' on adapter 'local area connection'. error code 'dns bad key. (9017)'. ensure dns server accessible cluster node , contact dns server administrator verify cluster identity can update dns record 'w2k8r2-clstr.test.me.com'.

this on node: secondnode.test.me.com

any ideas?

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
