my setup:
windows server 2008 sp2 x86
802.1x authentication set to
peap
--> "validate server certificate" unchecked
--> authentication method: "secured password (eap-mschap v2)"
--> "automatically use windows..." unchecked
authentication handled cisco acs username , password
everything works fine until install terminal server/licensing role @ server, without ts connect nic our 802.1x enabled switch , window show's asking me network credentials, enter , server get's connected special vlan.
after ts installation window doesn't show , have no chance enter credentials (event log says "wired 802.1x authentication failed...). use set lab server placed seperate vlan, server 2003 setup running fine terminal server installed now...
hope help,
thx in advance

hi,
thanks post.
please first check if appropriate computer certificate used on client machines.
at time, need collect mps report on server side.
1. download proper mps report tool website below.
microsoft product support reports
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=cebf3c7c-7ca5-408f-88b7-f9c79b7306c0&displaylang=en
2. double-click run it, if requirement not met, please follow wizard download , install them. after that, click next, when "select diagnostics want run" page appears, select "general", “internet , networking”, “business networks”, “server components”, click next.
3. after collecting log files, choose "save results", choose folder save <computername>mpsreports.cab file.
use windows live skydrive (http://windowslive.com/online/skydrive ) upload file , send download address me directly @ tfwst@microsoft.com
thanks,
miles
