wpeinit stopped working now

hi,

 

i'm trying deploy image i'm having problems it. able boot pxe, cmd opens , runs wpeinit, stops , shows x:\windows\system32.

 

it used work fine, needed add more drivers older laptop. added these repository, , updated deployment point in deployment workbench. in wds, deleted old boot image , created new image.

 

the reason me updating before, in pxe boot, after entering administrator credentials , domain name, message came saying can't reached , i've done before , worked (i supervised time, i'm still quite new bdd)

 

is there else supposed make work?

 

im using bdd 2007 on server 2003, , i'm trying deploy windows xp.

your bootstrap.ini looks fine, file determines script to start bdd wizard. verify can connect share bootstap.ini pointing to. distribution$ definetly shared? after winpe boots , if @ command prompt, try , net use distribution$ share.

 

i have seen similiar problems if pc trying install has less 512 mb.

 

if above correct, update on deploy point. make sure select update -- not update (files only). after update wim file want in boot directory of distribution folder. add wim file (litetouchpe_x86.wim) windows deployment services -- boot images. boot in winpe select newly added boot image , should fine.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
