Windows 7 loses connetion to all the shared folders randomly in a 2008 server domain

hello everyone, have new problem never faced before , holding me in setting new domains. have a windows 2008 r2 domain local dns server setup not have reverse lookup zone set up. not use email @ all. strictly file sharing , shared printing. have mix client environment. windows xp , windows 7 pro 64x operating systems. xp workstations fine. no connectivity issue ever. windows 7 works stations lose connection shared folders mapped drive. random , day long. goes away few seconds few minutes , random well. have symantec a/v installed . while lose connection shared folders still have access internet. particular time can not use \\domainname.local\sharedfolder . comes moment connectivity back. have looked around event viewer , not find particular msgs . pertaining issue. in matter appreciated. thank in advance.

firstly, when issue occurs, please check if can access network share via \\ipaddress\sharefolder format.


if can, issue may related dns, please check if related dns records correctly in dns server.


in addition, please use gpp deploy network sharing , test issue again.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
