Word/Excel 2010 Duplex Problem (flip up mode)

hello,

we having problem word/excel 2010 printing automatic duplex when choosing flip mode. happens with of our computers (over 650 computers) and of our printers (more 25 printers). computers running either windows xp 32-bit or windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit. printers not hp printers. printers are using current drivers for each printer. the version of word 2010 14.0.6112.5000 (32 bit).

this issue. if choose flip pages (short edge in portrait or long edge in landscape), prints in book mode (long edge in portrait or short edge in landscape). other applications duplex properly. problem not occur in access 2010 access 2010 not use interface printing word , excel have in 2010.  

a user can select printer properties , manually check box flip pages when duplexing. after clicking ok, word printing interface changes reflect flipping pages up. if go printer properties, box has become unchecked. also, pages still print in book mode. users office 2000 have no problem printing duplex in flip mode.

these printers networked printers, printing from five different print servers. printers default printer same problem if choose printer. printer settings correct printers. cycling through tabs , clicking ok not fix issue. also, there no way bring printers native interface , print there. can go properties through office interface , settings not save for print on both sides "flip pages up".

if using printer server, please test printing local/network printer, not via printer server.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
