word 2003 disappearing symbols when open document

from description, can follow these steps detect , repair office 2003.

 

method 1: run detect , repair on menu

1. on the help menu in office program, click detect , repair.
2. click start.

note to restore program shortcuts the start menu, verify the restore shortcuts while repairing check box selected.

 

method 2: run detect , repair tool add or remove programs

1. click start, , click control panel.
2. double-click programs , features, click microsoft office 2003, , click change.
3. in the microsoft office 2003 setup dialog box, click repair, , click next.
4. click detect , repair errors in office installation, , click install.

note if choose detect , repair problems in microsoft office installation, click select the restore start menu shortcuts check box rebuild microsoft office shortcuts
