Unable to install Hyper-V role on HP server

i unable install hyper-v role on hp dl585 g2 server (w2k8 r2) . i receive a "failure configuring windows features -> reverting changes" error have seen mentioned here and online haven't found solutions.

the enabling of hyper-v role goes fine , log entry indicates success after required reboot revert happens.

to save time routine trouble-shooting steps have been taken , there no need suggest of these:

- enabled virtualization in bios
- enabled dep
- updated bios
- installed latest updates windows update

* server powered off after enabling first two

- also, after complete server rebuild problem still persists.

other dl585 g2s (with same bios, same build,etc) have had hyper-v role enabled successfully previously

no logs have located offer have led me solution.

the setup log contain following hasn't led me answers:

update microsoft-hyper-v of package microsoft-hyper-v-package failed turned on. status: 0x80004005.

you may try replace cpu or related hardware of problematic physical computer check whether same issue, can narrow down cause of issue. understanding.

 

by way, mentioned “we build wim image file.”, ask whether got wim image file original dvd disk or customized 1 someone.

Can no longer user MS Update - Files required to use Microsoft Update are no longer registered

hi, i'm new server 2003.  installed it.  removed enhanced ie security.  proceed download , install windows server 2003 sp1, of dot net (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, , updates), , sp2. after downloaded , installed of above, tried windows update menu option in ie.  (ie 8 windows server 2003) , sits there "done" in lower left hand corner.  never brings in window. so try www.microsoft.com -> download , trails -> update.  received error message "files required use microsoft update no longer registered or installed on computer".  click on register or reinstall files me now.  window changes , "check latest version of windows updating software .... ".   sits there (last time sat there on hour). i went on internet , found instructions: regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 atl.dll regsvr32 msxml3.dll did not work either.  have other suggestions?...

How do a find data in one file, search for it in another file and if not found, write a custom message to another file
