A Hyper-V server with all of technet on it?

as subject says, want create windows 2008r2 hyper-v server every piece of ms software active on it. means multiple vms large hardware base. concern less scalability getting things working 1 man environment learn in (after all, technet licensing.) questions are: minimum hardware requirements? i'm assuming modern quad core, possibly more reduce virtualization load. ram 24gb (sharepoint , exchange being are) , 1tb hdd (preferably 2 backup purposes.) how many virtual machines looking at? how many applications , services can merge onto same virtual machines reduce amount of vms need? in normal environment there security considerations, less of issue in test environment. forward thoughts , comments.

hi,

the answer depends.

if never run vms simultaneously, requirements server fine, can use general workstation.

by way, can make list of features/services want run within vms , check whether can combine of them 1 vm in order deduce amount of vms.

best regards,

vincent hu
